Insurance Condition and Value Survey ....

This type of survey is for individuals who already own the vessel and are applying for or renewing
their coverage for insurance.

The primary objective of the Insurance Condition and Value survey is to inspect and report  on
enough of the vessel and its systems to provide the Condition and Value information required
by an underwriter for them to determine whether it meets their criteria for an "acceptable risk".

Terms of the Insurance Condition and Value Survey are stated within a Contractual Agreement authorizing J.N. Allinson Associates, Inc. to perform the Report of Survey.

GUIDELINES OF SURVEY:

THE MANDATORY STANDARDS PROMULGATED BY THE UNITED STATES COAST GUARD (USCG),
UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF TITLE 46 UNITED STATES CODE (USC); TITLE 33 AND TITLE 46,
CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS (CFR), AND THE VOLUNTARY STANDARDS AND RECOMMENDED PRACTICES DEVELOPED BY THE AMERICAN BOAT AND YACHT COUNCIL (ABYC) AND THE NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION (NFPA) ARE USED AS GUIDELINES IN CONDUCTING SURVEYS.
